Health and Safety
Mitchellson’s Health & Safety culture and management approach is based on working to a higher level than the industry recommended best practice. It also incorporates collaborative teamwork and innovation, which is driven by the belief that we all have a right to a safe and healthy work environment.
Our goal is to consistently provide our staff and workforce with the training, instruction, information and equipment that they need to carry out their works safely, and in a manner that promotes the maintenance of everyone else’s Health and Safety.
Mitchellson’s management systems and procedures have been designed to help achieve this, as well as exceeding the legal compliance issues, way above the minimum required by current legislation.
We strongly believe that our best assets are the individuals we employ; their input is vital to the success of Mitchellson’s.
By promoting an ‘open door policy’ we have created a constructive forum for all our employees to share concerns, opinions, ideas and suggestions. Enabling everyone to work as a team to continuously improve and grow. A high level of safety awareness is achieved for all employees by supplying thorough training and accurate information for all our employees to utilise. Through investment in our employees we help to provide an excellent overall service and end product to our clients, which is why many of them continue to award us additional projects.
We are also very aware of the impact that we might have on the neighbours to the construction site and we have procedures in place that minimise our impact, as part of the Construction Consideration Scheme.
The directors, managers and employees of the Mitchellson organisation are all committed to the provision of the highest quality of product and service to our clients and we are aware that this can only be achieved with the involvement and commitment of all personnel at every level within our organisation. The Quality policy is communicated to all employees and displayed at the company’s permanent offices and sites. This policy is reviewed annually to ensure that it reflects the changing objectives and circumstances of the company.
