Working at Mitchellson Formwork – A Project Manager’s view

I have worked for Mitchellson’s Formwork and Civil Engineering Ltd (MFCE) for the past five years as a Project Manager on a range of contracts from residential blocks in the Olympic Village to Camden Council Civic Centre.

MFCE is a concrete frame and ground works contractor and very much a family business with open and good relationships from director level to site operatives. There is a wealth of experience within the company with many employees having been with the firm since it was formed.

This experience is extremely valuable and is utilised in the efficient management of our sites and fosters a team spirit. There is also a willingness to bring trainees on board with new graduates being taken from university.

Working for MFCE requires hard work and flexibility. The variety of projects undertaken means the demands of the job can be varied. It is important to be adaptable as you may be called upon to utilise your talents on a range of disciplines. This means the work is interesting and stimulating.

Working for MFCE is demanding but there is a good team spirit and job satisfaction is high.
